Knight Visuals Photography Studio Contract Agreement
This Agreement is entered into by Knight Visuals Photography Studio (hereafter referred to as “Knight Visuals”) and the Client. By booking photography services with Knight Visuals, the Client agrees to the terms outlined below.
1. Booking & Deposit
- A 70% booking deposit of the total session fee is required to secure your booking with Knight Visuals. This deposit is applied to the total cost of the photography package selected.
- No date or time slot is reserved or confirmed until this deposit has been received.
- The deposit serves as a commitment from both parties and ensures Knight Visuals’ availability for the scheduled session or event.
Booking Deposit and Refund Policy:
- A 70% booking deposit of the total session fee is required to secure your booking with Knight Visuals Photography Studio.
- In the event of a cancellation by the client:
- 50% of the booking deposit (equivalent to 35% of the total session fee) is refundable if the cancellation occurs at least 75hrs prior to the scheduled session.
- The remaining 50% of the booking deposit is non-refundable, as it covers the studio’s administrative, preparation, and opportunity costs.
- Cancellations made less than 72hrs before the session will result in the forfeiture of the entire 70% deposit.
- In the event that Knight Visuals must cancel the session due to unforeseen circumstances, the client will be entitled to a full refund of the booking deposit or offered the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
2. Payment of Balance
- The remaining balance of the agreed-upon package must be paid no later than 24 hours before the scheduled shoot or event date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Payments can be made via the accepted methods of payment listed below. No services will be rendered without full payment.
- Failure to pay the remaining balance within the specified timeframe will result in automatic cancellation of services, and the deposit will not be refunded.
3. Rescheduling Policy
- Clients may reschedule their session up to 72 hours prior to the scheduled time without penalty, subject to availability.
- Rescheduling requests within 72 hours of the scheduled shoot may be subject to an additional fee, depending on availability and any potential inconvenience caused.
- Knight Visuals will make every effort to accommodate rescheduling requests but cannot guarantee availability for the newly requested date or time.
4. Cancellations
- All cancellations must be submitted in writing, either via email or phone call.
- In the event of a cancellation, the Booking Deposit and Refund Policy outlined in Section 1 applies.
- If Knight Visuals cancels the session due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergencies, or equipment failure), the Client will be offered either a full refund or the option to reschedule the shoot at no additional cost.
5. Image Delivery & Turnaround Time
- Edited digital images will be delivered via an online gallery within 14-21 days following the shoot or event, unless a different timeframe is agreed upon in writing.
